With Keli living in Hawaii for a few years and Michelle living there now, we have a few items that we always carry in our beach bag.
We know everyone is over the never ending winter weather and ready for some vitamin D. To prepare you for a trip away on spring break or just getting pumped up for summer, we wanted to share with you what we carry in our beach bag! There are a few items that have been our favorite for years and a couple of new things we have recently added to our list.
- We just love floppy hats and oversized sunglasses, and we are sure most people are in agreement that every girl needs to protect their skin from aging.
- Of course, a towel is a necessity, and there is a lot of hype over the lightweight Turkish towels that we are so excited to try. We found many awesome colors and prints on Amazon, and who doesn’t love Amazon Prime?!
- Next, is a pair of adorable sandals that will work at the beach, pool, or lunch afterward.
- Sunscreen is a must, and we know everyone has their go to, but if you haven’t tried SunBum, please do yourself a favor and order it. It smells so good and doesn’t leave a greasy feel afterward. We’ve used it for years and are still praising the brand.
The next few items are essential to us, but maybe not to others.
- We love a good facial mist while out in the heat and Evian spray is just refreshing. We’ve mentioned it in our summer essentials post and always keep it in our purse and beach bag.
- To keep hydrated while you are out, you might as well have a cute water bottle. The BKR glass water bottles come in tons of awesome colors!
- Last on our list is the girly girl primping part.;) A creamy lip gloss, hair de-tangler, nail polish, and self-tanner. If you’re looking for a self-tanner, to not feel so winter pasty, Loving Tan is hands down the best we’ve tried. The one pictured above lasts one day for a quick tan, but they also carry one that will last up to two weeks. This product has no smell and dries within 90 seconds!
