Traditional with an Artsy Twist Kitchen Nook

There is something special about a room with a purpose and filled with items you love. Design can be so personal, and it’s essential to surround yourself with the things that make you happy. I love mixing high & low price points, old & new pieces, and adding that whimsical piece that everyone will ask questions about when visiting your home.

My favorite way to start the process of designing a room is with an inspiration piece. My sister found this reasonable citrus print at Target and challenged me to create a high end look with a budget in mind around it.

I used my method of blending high and low price points! The result was a traditional Kitchen Nook with an artsy twist. Trust me! I had so much fun designing this!
