It’s my Entryway Makeover Reveal day! I have been waiting for this day for almost two months now! With a few simple changes, I was able to transform this space into one of my favorites in my home, and I LOVE IT! This space has come a long way since we moved into our house a year ago, and I am so pleased to be sharing it with you finally.

My Entryway Makeover
My goal for my entryway makeover was to open it up with new front doors to allow more natural light to flood in and add a more youthful vibe by changing the wall color and chandelier.
I will be giving you a few before pictures throughout this post so you can see the full transformation. I truly can’t believe the difference!
You will also see my Siberian Husky Eagan popping in a few pictures. He is my sidekick and it’s hard to capture a shot without him in it. Can you spot him in the above photo? 🙂
Wall Color
The walls previously had a cream color, which is not bad, but gave the room an older feel. I wanted a new color that would give the entryway a more youthful vibe.
The wall color I chose is called Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams. I wanted this color because I feel it is the perfect gray! It never looks too gray or too beige, and it lightens up this space bringing a more youthful feel. Even though it is on the lighter side, I feel like this space still has a warmth to it. It truly is a versatile color!

You can still spot a little bit of the older cream color at the top of the steps! That’s a painting project for another day! It will be a happy day when that color is off all of my walls. In the meantime, I am enjoying this new space.
The little antique side table was a gift from my parent’s. My mom found it at an antique store called On A Whim near Lucketts, VA.

I found my chandelier at the cutest home boutique in Leesburg, VA called 27 South Interiors. When choosing a light fixture, take into consideration the scale of your entryway. I wanted an extra large simple chandelier that had a modern feel in my very traditional space.
There are so many beautiful options on the market today and narrowing down the perfect light fixture can be tough.
The pillows in my entryway are a combination of HomeGoods and Pottery Barn. With the space being so neutral, switching out the pillows can change up the whole feel of the room.
I ordered my doors from Home Depot and painted them Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams, just like the rest of my interior doors. A company called Nova Installations installed the doors and custom window for me.

Love the entryway! The front doors are gorgeous. I wanted doors like that instead of a slider on the back of our new house. Didn’t get it. I will admire yours from afar.

Thank you, Belva. I have been wanting these doors since we moved into our house a year ago. They are handsdown the best update we have made to our house to date. I bet your new house is beautiful! I hope you all are enjoying the change.

I’m in love with your beautiful entry! What a difference the light makes coming in through the new front doors. The soft gray paint is so gorgeous with all the black interior doors. The brushed gold light fixture adds that little pop of glam. Perfect!
