Welcome to my Christmas Cottage. My name is Keli and I am one of the sisters that started Diamonds or Pearls Blog. I have always loved this time of year ever since I was a little girl; visiting with loved ones, beautiful decor everywhere, and watching the happy little faces of my nieces and nephews opening their gifts. This year will be even more exciting because it’s my daughter’s first Christmas. It’s going to be so much fun carrying on family traditions and showing her the magic this time of year brings.
Join me as I take you through my cozy New Jersey cottage and show you my traditional Christmas decor with a touch of cottage glam.
This is the entrance to our home and the perfect space for visiting when we have guests. With a new addition to the family, I was blessed to have my sweet mom help me get ready for the holidays. I have always called her my Christmas elf because she can make a simple tree look magical. I chose to decorate with nontraditional, coastal colors, to remind me of the days when we lived close to the beach.

My dining room has one of my favorite antique pieces in my home. I refurbished this sideboard for a great entertaining piece and just love how it turned out. Being a new mother, I kept my decor simple with fresh greenery and incorporated a few of my decorative trees.

This area is used the most because it’s the entrance to our home from the garage and also where our family room is. I continued the fresh greenery down my steps and added our family stockings from Pottery Barn. It is simple, but still very cozy. The striped ribbon helps add some color, and my mercury glass acorn gives it a little glam.
