I’ve been excited to share all the details and give a tour of our baby girl’s nursery! This project of changing out our home office to a nursery took some time, but I’m loving how it all turned out. I had an idea of what I wanted the room to look like, but in the end it turned out even better than planned. I even purchased pink curtains, which I swore I wouldn’t do, haha!
While browsing Pinterest I came across many nurseries with bold and colorful paper flowers. My initial thought was to purchase, until I saw how much they cost. With a lot of help from You Tube, I ended up making them myself. It was a lot of fun and I am not a crafty person.
I received these two adorable handmade gifts from Michelle’s mother in law, Denney. She is truly talented and I will cherish these gifts forever.

Pottery Barn Kids had the curtains I wanted, I purchased them online and they were a little brighter than expected. To soften up the look I added ivory trim.
I’m still on the hunt for a few more pieces for the nursery. I’d love to add something on each side of the window to balance out the room.
I wanted a bookshelf in the room, but had to be creative because of the space. I purchased four spice racks from Ikea, painted them and voila, I had myself a bookshelf.
My dresser was an antique find, it was in good shape, just needed a little TLC. I was so pleased with how it turned out and it added a lot to the room.
Now we are just waiting the arrival of our baby girl! Cheddar is loving the new nursery and I’m sure he will be the best big brother.
