Hello friends and welcome to my VA home! My name is Keli, and I’m happy to be a part of the tour again this year. There is no better time to decorate than at Christmas. Your surroundings should add joy to all of your holiday celebrations.
2018 Twelve Days of Christmas Tour
This year my inspiration for my Christmas decor was to blend my classic style with something magical for my daughter. I grew up with a train around my grandparent’s tree that I looked forward to seeing every Christmas. I wanted to have the same tradition for my daughter and look forward to seeing her eyes light up every time we turn it on.
We had one good snow day and were able to head outside and build our first snowman of the year! We received this adorable homemade snowman kit from my mother-in-law. I found a similar one (HERE).
Step into my entryway where you will instantly feel the warmth of the season and the Christmas spirit.
As soon as you enter our home, our living room is to the right. This year I treated myself to a new faux tree that looks so real. I wanted the look of a real tree without all the maintenance.
The wooden star was purchased at one of my favorite home stores in Leesburg, VA called 27 South Interiors. I always walk out with something I love!
I love the simplicity of my tree and thought it was too pretty to cover up! I used my mercury glass ornaments and a striped ribbon I found at Merrifled Garden Center in Virginia to add a little elegance.
My dining room is an extension of my living room and I like to make sure the decor flows.
My most treasured find was this large oversized dough bowl. I wanted a centerpiece that I could fill with different decor throughout the year. Greenery and a lantern were added for Christmas and I love the simplicity of it.
My Santa makes me happy and I wanted to make sure he was on display! The buffet was the perfect spot!
The Kitchen Nook is where we eat all of our meals. I kept it functional and only added my favorite Christmas flower the Amaryllis and two quirky trees.
Christmas Bliss extends to the Family Room. This is our most used room and I wanted to make it young, fun, and free-spirited.
I added bright colors and a wide houndstooth ribbon to my tree.
I wanted my daughter to feel the specialness of the season through the way her bedroom was decorated.
I placed her tree in a cute basket and added the most adorable pink plaid ribbon also found at Merrifield Garden Center here in VA.
She received this adorable Pottery Barn dollhouse from her Grandma Hites and she plays with it daily.
Christmas books are left out for reading before bed.
The house lit up at night, a Hallmark Christmas movie, and my favorite cup of tea is what I look forward to every evening.
My favorite tradition around the holidays is to drive around and look at Christmas lights. Once we’re home, we love to make our favorite Williams Sonoma Hot Apple Cider (HERE).

Keli your home is just adorable! I see several things that I would consider my favorites, including that darling little Ashlyn 🙂 I love your tree. It looks so real & it is beautifully decorated! I am also drooling over the over-sized dough bowl. It steals the show in your dining area. The large jingle bell hanging off the mantel is such an eye catcher too.
