Hello, friends! I couldn’t wait to put together my Bright & Cheerful Spring Tablescape to share with all of you!
With all of the spring home refreshes going on now, it is a perfect time to host a lunch with some great friends. You don’t have to spend a lot of time styling a table to make it look like you spent hours planning and putting it together. With just a few simple tips, you can have an adorable and stunning tablescape.
Spring Tablescape
Choose a color palette
Choosing a color palette for your tablescape will make your look more cohesive no matter how much you plan to put on it.
This bright and cheerful flower tablecloth was my inspiration for this tablescape. I decided to fold it and make it into a runner, so the flowers weren’t too overwhelming. I love how it pops on the table.
Create a Centerpiece
When choosing a centerpiece, many like to keep it simple, so the food and company are the main focus.
Look at this faux boxwood bunny I found at HomeGoods! I thought this was a perfect and fun alternative to the usual flower arrangement and a cute conversation starter. I believe that it made my tablescape!
Layer Dishes
I use white dishes on almost every table I design because it goes with everything and I always love how it looks. Layering a few fun & simple pieces on top of the white plate can help pull in the colors from your chosen palette. I love to hunt for beautiful small plates in antique stores and browse Home Goods for something modern and unique.
The adorable paper straws are from Target. I thought they added such a cute touch!

I used white napkins, so they didn’t compete with my bright runner.
For something a little different and refreshing, I made a pitcher of lemon and apple water.

And of course, I couldn’t design a tablescape without adding a fun favor. A favor doesn’t have to be anything significant, just a little something special for your guests to take home.
I hope you enjoyed my Bright & Cheerful Spring Tablescape. Have fun planning your next get- together with great friends. Thanks so much for stopping by.
