Hi and welcome to the Fall House Tour! My name is Kristen and I’m one of the three sisters who began Diamonds or Pearls Blog. Fall has always been my favorite time of the year. I love the colors, smells, and cold weather clothes. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt my birthday is in September.
We live in Colorado and the weather is just starting to change. Mums are in the stores, leaves are changing, and cold weather is upon us. It’s my favorite time to get my pumpkins out, grab a cup of cider, and entertain. Visiting with great friends and sharing a pot of soup is one of my all time fall favorites.
I like to blend non-traditional colors with my traditional fall decor. Adding fun colors and quirky pieces makes my decor complete.
I’m crazy for candles in general, but especially fall scents. I recently made my trip to Bath and Body Works to stock up. They make any room smell amazing and instantly give you that cozy feel.
Like most things in my life, my sisters have probably introduced me to it. Keli, introduced me to Williams Sonoma Apple Cider. It’s the perfect drink to have while rocking on the front porch and adding a little rum never hurts.
I couldn’t help but post a picture of our dog, Minnie. At 1 year old she could run all day. It’s so nice getting her out for her daily walks. My girls love to ride their scooters and the cool air helps us stay out longer.
My girls wanted to be a part of the tour. They waited patiently until I took my picture, then immediately posed for the camera.

I hope everyone has a wonderful start to their fall and will get into the spirit with us. I know our Aunt Judy would be so happy to be a part of this tour. This is a way to share our love of fall with all of you and honor a wonderful person. Next on the tour is our sister-in-law, Heather. She has such warm and inviting home and her style reflects our Aunt Judy’s.

Kristin I agree with you that the Bath & Body candles are amazing! Even if the weather is not co-operating with the season the aroma can surely transport you there. The girls are growing up so fast! Your home looks very pretty & inviting! Happy Fall to you & I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
