Everyone needs a day away from their hectic routine. Caring for your home, your kids, or your husband can challenge anyone’s sanity. I decided that a girls trip to Breckenridge, CO would be the perfect getaway. This cute town has something to offer everyone!
Shopping
The main street is an endless display of charming, eclectic, and inviting boutiques. I couldn’t wait to head to Marigolds to grab another fantastic candle that I purchased on a prior trip. I love finding treasures and look forward to searching for something new to personalize my space at home.
Eating
The Blue Stag Saloon is full of mountain charm, and the food was amazing. The decor is decidedly rustic, but with a bright and quirky feel; they even brought us the check in an old book.
After spending hours of walking around, I found my Tieks were the best choice for this day trip. They are amazingly comfortable, and I recommend them to anyone searching for a flat. They come in a wide variety of colors and prints. For my first pair, I chose the color poppy; it’s perfect for spring.
Living in Colorado provides access to a multitude of fun little mountain towns, each with a character and feel of their own. While these towns are amazing to visit, even the drive to get there is an adventure. The roads meander through lush, western meadows and over steep mountain passes with breathtaking vistas. This is my second time visiting Breckenridge, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you! If you’re looking for a vacation spot with fresh mountain air, authentic western atmosphere, and cosmopolitan class, you cannot beat Breckenridge, Colorado.
Hugs,
Kristen
