Hello and happy Friday!
It has been super busy around my house lately getting ready for school to start on Tuesday. We have also been dealing with the water damage we experienced to the front of our home. (It’s been a big headache)
I have a lot of great posts planned for September! With so many projects going on in my home, I thought it would be fun to get inspired together. One of my latest projects is painting! I have been painting everything…haha! It was the refresh I needed for my home, and I can’t believe the difference it made.
Friday Favorites
My Friday Favorites this week are all about home inspiration. With the mess of the water damage in our entryway, I decided to go ahead and paint it a different color.
Some of my favorite new colors in my home are listed below:
REPOSE GRAY BY SHERWIN WILLIAMS
This color made my entryway feel so much more youthful and gave it new life! It is not a true gray and has a little bit of a brown/taupe undertone. This room has a lot of natural light, which gives this color so much vibrancy.
This color seems to change throughout the day depending on the amount of light it gets, so if you were going to use it, I would recommend getting a sample and doing the square test on posterboard. That way you can move it in different positions in the room to see if you will like it before painting and messing up your wall. 🙂
IRON ORE BY SHERWIN WILLIAMS
I am in love with this color and have used it on interior doors and furniture. It’s such a great color because it is softer on the eye with a gray undertone rather than stark black.
My entryway has Repose Gray on the walls and Iron Ore on french doors.
If you need a little refresh somewhere in your home, think about adding a new paint color. Isn’t amazing how a new color will make you feel?!
Full reveal in a few weeks on my refreshed entryway. I’m just waiting on my new front doors to arrive, and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am!
