Happy New Year and Best of Diamonds or Pearls 2017

Happy New Year!

We wanted to first thank each and every one of you for the support you have given Diamonds or Pearls this past year. Your comments, friendship, and support have lifted us in so many ways.

It was such an incredible year with so many changes and new beginnings for us. It’s fun to look back at things we have accomplished and all the wonderful memories we have made this past year. 2017 was very busy for us! We both moved with our families to Virginia (finally neighbors after 16 years). The change has been so much fun for both of our families, and we are cherishing every moment we have living close to one another.

With the home tours being such a popular demand, we will definitely be incorporating more of them into our yearly calendar. If you would like to nominate someone that has a talent for decorating and you feel like would be an excellent candidate for one of our 2018 Home Tours, please message us on FB or email us at diamondsorpearlsblog@gmail.com. We would need some info and a few pictures of why you have chosen this person. There is so much talent out there, and we love getting inspired by others. Lifting each other up and showcasing one another’s talents is what the tours are all about! 🙂

Our homes are slowly coming together, and we plan to document more of the process this year. This will include more to-do posts and videos. Michelle will also be teaming up with her mother-in-law to show you how to make a lined drapery panel. The tutorial will be ready on January 15th! With doing more tutorials, we hope to encourage and inspire! It always feels good to see a project come to fruition that you created.

There is a new look for Diamonds or Pearls!  Finally! We have been wanting to revamp the site for a while and love how it turned out! Don’t forget to check it out!

And the final news is we will be offering E-Design on our site later in the year!  This has been a dream for a while now, and we can’t wait to provide it to our readers. More info to follow at a later date.
