Our last home of the tour is brought to us from Atlanta by way of Savannah! Tucked quietly into an unassuming corner of Atlanta’s bustling suburbs is a neighborhood made up entirely of replica homes. Scenes from Charleston, Boston, New Orleans, and Savannah adorn each street, while gorgeous estate homes line the Chattahoochee River that runs next to this unique piece of paradise.
Mary, from Mary & Bright Blog, resides with her husband, son, and chocolate lab in the Savannah section.
Their brightly colored coastal home is a replica of the Andrew Low House. The original home, with its mid-nineteenth century gardens and Italian architecture, faces LaFayette square in Savannah.
While the exteriors look quite similar, the interior of Mary’s replica home was built and eventually renovated several times to suit more modern lifestyles and design tastes.
