One of our local garden centers (Gardens of the World) had a spring/early summer event last year where you could choose one “Thriller”, two ‘fillers” and two “spillers” along with one pot/planter. You could then, with or without (your choice) the help of an employee of the center, plant the container using their soil. I a dracaena as the thriller, 2 sweet potato vines and spillers and as fillers I chose purple alyssum and deep pinkish purple verbena. …all for $25! I’m hoping they’ll do the same thing again this year! All the wonderful examples in your post have me itching to go get started right NOW! ?❤
